CTE_T_H_cmyk_lg
Dear Jim:

On November 20, at 10 a.m. PT, CTEq is releasing iON Future -- a suite of free online learning games to introduce middle to early high school-age youth to a variety of STEM-based professions -- at a launch event from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif.

We welcome your help in getting the word out to any of your education partners about the launch of this new resource. The 35-minute webcast will take students on virtual tours of STEM in action, and could be just the right touch to capture kids' attention in this time leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday.  A link to the webcast will subsequently appear on our website for use at any time.
  • Check out the one-pager that includes details on the high-energy webcast event.
  • Interested teachers can tune in here Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.  If a teacher can access this link, they will be able to access the webcast.
Educators, adult youth leaders, and parents can also introduce iON Future to youth by using thelearning guide any time after Nov. 20. It will remain available free of charge.

You can access a beta version of the games directly at ionfuture.org.
  • Play as Guest during the beta period.
  • Career Quest, one of the games, has one profession to explore, but at the launch, more careers will be featured.
Please take a look at the one-pager for more information, pass it along to program partners and educators you know, and tune in here Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

Thanks in advance for helping to spread the word about this great new resource to inspire youth interest in STEM careers.
