DETROIT TECHONOMY CONFERENCE 2013 FOCUS (National Challenge of Inadequate and Inequitable Education)

Snyder,Gilbert, Dorsey set for Detroit Techonomy conference

   Gov. Rick Snyder, Quicken Loans founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert and Twitter Chairman Jack Dorsey will be among those headlining the return of Techonomy to Detroit on Sept. 17.
   The popular conference devoted to technology’s role as a driver for the U.S. and urban economy will be held at Wayne State University.
   The first Techonomy conference in Detroit featured speakers on the theme of technology and innovation under-girding American economic growth, job creation and urban revival. This year's conference will focus on the national challenge of inadequate and inequitable education.
   The conference runs from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Wayne State's Community Arts Auditorium and McGregor Conference Center. The early registration fee is $125.
