Digital Promise Education Entrepreneurs Webinar (TODAY: Wednesday, May 15, 2013 2:00PM

Dear friends,
Please join us for our upcoming webinar, "Building Better Relationships with Education Entrepreneurs," scheduled for 2 p.m. EST, Wednesday May 15.

For all of the talk and hype surrounding education technology, plus the significant investment and activity in the market over the past few years, many educators still face a lack of useful information about what's actually out there for them. There are plenty of entrepreneurs and companies offering next-generation products, but the end-users are often unaware of those products and, even more often, absent from the process of developing those products.

As an extension of our ongoing work to address barriers in the education procurement process, this webinar will help dispel some of the myths of the "ed-tech startup space," showcase districts and startups working well together, and discuss ways to make these relationships mutually beneficial and targeted to the needs of real educators.

In addition to the stakeholders in the audience, our featured guests will be:

Alan Louie, co-founder, Imagine K-12
Steven Hodas, Executive Director of InnovateNYC Schools, New York City Department of Education
Marcy Raymond, Principal of eSTEM Academy and Director of K-12 STEM Education, Reynoldsburg City Schools
Moderated by: Jason Tomassini, Digital Promise

If you have any questions about the webinar, contact Jason Tomassini, at jason@digitalpromise.org. We hope that you can join us!
