CELL launches PBL Institute (Project-Based Learning)

 The 2013 PBL Institute will feature four days of in-depth sessions to help educators:
  •  Work one-on-one with content area specialists
  •  Learn from traveling facilitators who are experts on PBL implementation
  •  Participate in advanced levels of PBL
  •  Earn “badges” reflecting PBL expertise
  •  Learn how to design, manage, and assess standards-focused projects
  •  Engage in best practices to support sustainable implementation of PBL
  •  Develop, exhibit, and receive individual feedback on a PBL unit to be used in the attendee’s classroom or school
  •  Exchange ideas through the final project exhibition
  •  Network with other PBL educators from Indiana and beyond
  •  Learn about the Indiana PBL Certification program sponsored by the Indiana Collaborative for PBL

Registration Windows & Fees: 

January 15–May 10.............$260 per person
May 11–June 14..................$360 per person
June 15–June 27.................$400 per person 

School teams of five or more people qualify for a 20% discount between January 15 and May 10. A team is defined as five or more individuals from the same school, school corporation, or organization who are paying from one credit card, purchase order, or check. All PBL book orders for registrants must be received by June 1, 2013. Attendees who have not ordered a book by June 1, 2013, may order one directly from BIE.org.
